I was meaning more what we would typically refer to as “right” wing being the parties in charge ie Trump, Putin, Orban etc. The EU for the most part is considered “left”. An economic and political union trying to do good by all its members, free movement, free trade, free market, rules and regulations, legislations and protections for its people and the rule of law etc. it has its faults sure but it is quite social leaning.

Lot of words there. And if I told you Russia was the right wing and the EU was the left, how would that alter your world view?
