    My understanding is that it’s common for Israel to tamp down on damage reports - both to limit OSINT for adversaries and to hide the retaliation cost from citizens

      Citizens know really well what happens. All damage is reported basically in real time. For example yesterday the largest news network in Israel urged not to show the location and 10 seconds later showed up at the scene inside people’s ruined home, basically. The reason being not to help targeting the next barrage. This is especially true with rockets, but also with guided missiles (which is the case now).
